As the world turns, we’re trying to keep pace and do the right thing. Accordingly, to promote a safe environment and provide some welcome peace of mind at Sound Summit, we’ve decided that all attendees will be required to show either proof of their complete vaccination record or a negative COVID test result from a test taken within 48 hours of the show – no earlier than September 9th.
In either case, you must also present a Photo ID that matches your documentation.
For children 12 & Under, the negative COVID test result will be required.
For Proof of Vaccination, you can provide either:
- Your vaccination card.
- A photo of the same on your cell phone.
- A complete image of your full Personal Digital COVID-19 Vaccine Record (including your name and vaccination dates) obtainable through the State of California at this link: https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov.
If you’re riding any of our buses for the short trip up the mountain from Mill Valley and back, or from our Summit Parking Lot to the venue entrance and back after the show, you’ll be required to wear a mask while onboard. We encourage you to bring and use your own, but we’ll be providing masks at all bus locations if you don’t have one.
Your vaccination record or negative test result will be checked BEFORE getting on the bus. Please bring the required documents and proceed to the vaccination check-in to get verified. You will receive a sticker to confirm your verification. This sticker will need to be shown at the box office at the venue when exchanging your ticket for a wristband. If you lose the sticker before arriving at the venue, you will need to have your vaccination record or negative test result verified again at the box office.
If you are getting to the venue via other means (driving, hiking, or biking) please look for the vaccination check-in at the main box office in front of the venue.
While not currently required by County ordinance, we encourage the wearing of masks when not eating or drinking while in the venue.
This is a bit more heavy lifting for you and for us, but we feel strongly it’s well worth the extra effort for all the reasons you know and can well imagine. Perhaps needless to say, this is all about respect for one another and our collective well-being as we navigate a new and challenging landscape.
Please spread the word among friends and family who you know have either purchased tickets or are contemplating doing so. And if you’re contemplating buying tickets yourselves, please take note of these measures.
If you have any questions, please write to email@example.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation in making our community adventure on the mountain one where we can all breathe a bit easier. Cheers!
