Grateful Guitars Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that obtains world-class musical instruments for talented players to carry on the tradition of jam band music into the 21st century and beyond. Additionally, the foundation recently announced its plan to kick off a program to inspire future generations of jam band players through support of regional music schools. Lastly, Grateful Guitars loans out period specific replicas and Grateful Dead stage-used instruments and gear to inspire bands playing Grateful Dead and jam band style music. These instruments inspire players to reach their full potential and bring the unique tones that fans crave with the intention of helping the jam scene last forever.
